JOIN A BIBLE STUDY

Bible Studies dig deeply into the word of God, both in a large group with live teaching, and in smaller groups for focused discussion. In a Bible study, we learn how to study God’s word and grow in our knowledge of biblical truth. Childcare is provided with advanced registration.

We also have other periodic events to provide women with opportunities to grow closer to God and to each other.

T2 – WOMEN’S MENTORING

All LifePoint women are invited to participate in our mentoring program. We are not meant to live a life in a vacuum; we were created for relationship. And we all have wisdom to share based on life experiences, no matter our age.  Our prayer is that the women of LPC will be connected in mentoring relationships that span all the decades of a woman’s life.

Where Does the Name "T2" Come From?

T2 is based on Titus 2:3-5 (AMP)

Older women similarly are to be reverent in their behavior, not malicious gossips nor addicted to much wine, teaching what is right and good, so that they may encourage the young women to tenderly love their husbands and their children, to be sensible, pure, makers of a home [where God is honored], good-natured, being subject to their own husbands, so that the word of God will not be dishonored.”

For our purposes “older” can either mean someone who was born before someone else, whether it is one or 10 years, OR someone who has been a believer for a longer period of time.  We all have wisdom to share based on life experiences, no matter our age.

How Does T2 Mentoring Work?

A mentor can be defined as a wise and trusted counselor. The idea is to connect a mentee with believer who is futher ahead of her by spiritual maturity and often (but not necessarily) by age. Mentoring relationships are designed to last about six months. During that time, mentors will be asked to periodically connect individually with the mentees by emails, phone calls, texts, lunches, coffee or whatever works for the mentor and the mentee.

At the end of six months, both mentors and mentees have the option to continue, request a new mentor or mentee or step out of the program.  No other action needs to happen except for letting the Mentoring Team leader know the status of your participation.
