LifePoint Church practices believer's baptism. Believing adults and children who understand the meaning of baptism are encouraged to take this step in obedience to Christ. While water baptism does not save you, it provides an opportunity to publicly identify with Jesus. Baptism is an outward symbol of an inward reality and is a picture of the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ.
We believe that the biblical pattern reminds us that baptism follows belief in Christ for salvation. Therefore, we do not baptize infants but provide regular opportunities for parents to dedicate to the Lord their children who are ages 24 months and younger.
Our baptism services will be held at each service on April 1 and 2, 2017.
Our current session is full. If you would like to register for our next baptism service, dates TBD, please click on the button below.
For children who wish to be baptized ...
If your child has accepted Christ as their Savior and wants to share publicly by being baptized, we want to celebrate this big decision! We have a special baptism service designed just for children.
