Most of us don’t want to be told what to do. After all, our lives are ours, we reason. Why trade in our personal autonomy to instead, be supervised by another? But, God is Lord of all. And His reach extends over all of creation. Rather than a controlling, spiteful dictator, God offers true freedom and real life—life to the fullest when we surrender continually to His lordship in our lives.
