An event every week that begins at 12:00 am on Saturday, repeating until September 22, 2019
This series is all about engaging people in the process of discipleship. Where and how does discipleship begin? Where does it lead? What can we expect? In short, discipleship begins in the grace of Jesus. It begins with Jesus call to come and see who He is and how He lives. It begins with belief in His death and resurrection plus nothing else. But it doesn’t end there. Having believed, Jesus invites us to follow Him and His way. This is an invitation to come and die. To pick up our cross and follow Jesus; to die to ourselves. To die to our sin and our brokenness. To die to our own plans to save ourselves and be our own gods. Above all to die to who we were so that Jesus can resurrect us into new creations who live as we were always meant to be. As He transforms us, Jesus also invites us to come and go. We are invited to be part of his plan of redemption for the world. We are invited to be messengers of His grace to a lost world. In a starving world Jesus sends us out to show others where to find bread.
