Become a Leader

Do you get the sense that God may be leading you toward becoming a Community Group Leader?  If so, here are some first steps you can take:

  • If you are currently in a Community Group, begin by talking with your leader about your interest.

  • Attend Essentials. It's vital to the health of our Community Group (CG) ministry that every leader is heading in the same direction, and has a crystal clear understanding as to what they should be doing as CG Leaders. Essentials helps to communicate that direction and vision. It's is an introduction and orientation into CG Leadership at LifePoint Church. Here you will learn the 7 essentials which lay out the expectations we have of our leaders, the basic skills necessary to lead a group, and the next steps to becoming a leader.  Click here to register.

  • Fill out the Community Group Leader Application and Agreement. We ask all potential leaders to fill out an application and agreement to ensure that we are on the same page and are clear as to the expectations.

  • Set up an appointment with our Pastor of Small Groups, Adam Workman at .  This serves as a time for you to ask any questions you have regarding leading a CG and the place where you will talk through the appropriate next steps.
