K-3rd | K-3rd Grade
Saturdays @ 5:00pm | Sundays @ 8:05am, 9:30am, & 11:00am
Based on Luke 2:52, "Jesus grew in wisdom and stature, and in favor with God and men," K-3rd Class helps children DISCOVER more about who they are in relationship to God. Through both large group presentation and small group discussion, children learn about God in a safe atmosphere. Monthly units centered around godly virtues continually teach these three truths:
I need to make the wise choice.
I can trust God no matter what.
I should treat others the way I want to be treated.

All children must be registered to enter a classroom. Classes open 15 minutes prior to each service. All families should go to the Ventureland check-in station located in the main lobby next to Guest Services. First time parents will fill out a visitor card and receive a name tag for their child.
The sticker name tag will indicate the age-appropriate classroom your child will attend. The name tag should be placed on the front of your child so we can see their name.
The check-in attendant will show you where your child’s classroom is located. Our elementary classrooms, JrQuest and KidQuest, are located on the lower level of our building. See our New Here page for a Campus Guide map.
Yes! When you register your child, you will receive a sticker name tag for him/her and a parent name tag for yourself. This tag identifies you as the only person who can pick up your child. The child tag corresponds to the parent tag.
If your parent tag is lost or misplaced, you MUST see an attendant at Guest Services who will verify your identification. Children WILL NOT be released to anyone without a parent tag.
Ventureland Influencers have all passed a background check and have been trained to work with children. We strive to have the safest environment possible in all classrooms.
The parent tag you receive when registering your child will have a three digit number on it. If your child needs you for any reason during the service, your three-digit number will be posted on either side of the stage on the screens. If you see your number posted, check with the attendant at Guest Services immediately. If your child has a medical need, let us know when you are checking in your child and you will be given a pager each week.
Yes! You can like us on Facebook and follow us on Twitter and Pinterest. In order to keep current, Ventureland is using many avenues of social media. This enables us to post pictures of all the great things that happen on the weekends and at special events. Please be advised that your child’s picture may be used on a social media site. Children will not be tagged or identified on these sites. If you do not want your child’s picture posted to any social media sites, please contact our Administrative Assistant.
Children with special needs are highly valued in Ventureland! Our disabilities ministry, HUGS, offers buddies for children who need “extra” one on one care to be successful in our classrooms. See our Disabilities page for more information about HUGS.
In Ventureland, we focus on programming that is energetic, biblical, fun and influential! Our weekend services are where it all happens. We value relationships with leaders, each other, and God. Because of this value, our classes consist of small group time, large group time, worship, and fun. You can expect Ventureland Influencers to lovingly build into your child.
There are many opportunities for serving in Ventureland. To find your best fit, check out our Volunteer Opportunities video on our Volunteer page or contact our Volunteer Coordinator.
