4th/5th | Grades 4-5
Sundays @ 9:30am & 11:00am
Preteens start to own their faith and make it their own in the 4th/5th Class, where they can grapple with hard questions about faith, life and who God really is. Committed leaders, dynamic small groups, and challenging lessons help students develop a PASSION for God that is contagious. Preteens learn the following truths:
I am created for an authentic relationship with God.
I define who I am by what Jesus says and what He has done.
I exist to show God's love to a broken world.
4th/5th Grade Class has three annual outreach events designed specifically with preteens in mind! We value fun and we want preteens to experience God in this way. Students and their friends must be registered to attend 4th/5th Events.
13 Intentional Conference Day One | 6:45pm Conference for parents, grandparents or will-be parents

All children must be registered to enter a classroom. Classes open 15 minutes prior to each service. All families should go to the Ventureland check-in station located in the main lobby next to Guest Services. First time parents will fill out a visitor card and receive a name tag for their child.
The sticker name tag will indicate the age-appropriate classroom your child will attend. The nametag should be placed on the front of your child so we can see their name.
The check-in attendant will show you where your child’s classroom is located. Our preteen classroom, BreakAway, is located on the lower level of our building. See our New Here page for a Campus Guide map.
Ventureland Influencers have all passed a background check and have been trained to work with children. We strive to have the safest environment possible in all classrooms.
If your child has a medical need, let us know when you are checking in your child and you will be given a pager each week.
At this age, children do not need parents to pick them up from class. When service is over, BreakAway students are dismissed. Parents should prearrange a meeting place with their child.
Yes! You can like us on Facebook and follow us on Twitter and Pinterest. In order to keep current, Ventureland is using many avenues of social media. This enables us to post pictures of all the great things that happen on the weekends and at special events. Please be advised that your child’s picture may be used on a social media site. Children will not be tagged or identified on these sites. If you do not want your child’s picture posted to any social media sites, please contact our Administrative Assistant.
Children with special needs are highly valued in Ventureland! Our disabilities ministry, HUGS, offers buddies for children who need “extra” one on one care to be successful in our classrooms. See our Disabilities page for more information about HUGS.
In Ventureland, we focus on programming that is energetic, biblical, fun and influential! Our weekend services are where it all happens. We value relationships with leaders, each other, and God. Because of this value, our classes consist of small group time, large group time, worship, and fun. You can expect Ventureland Influencers to lovingly build into your child.
There are many opportunities for serving in Ventureland. To find your best fit, check out our Volunteer Opportunities video on our Volunteer page or contact our Volunteer Coordinator.
