Baby Dedication | 24 Months & Younger
Next Celebration: September 23, 2017 @ 10:30am
Registration is now open for September 23.
At LifePoint Church, Baby Dedication Celebration is more than an event; it is the beginning of a partnership that is designed to influence a child to find and follow Jesus!
Baby Dedication is an opportunity for parents of children 24 months and younger to make a commitment before God to raise their child according to God's ways. This is the beginning of a journey where you, the parent partner with us, the church.
As a parent, you have the greatest influence in your child's spiritual upbringing, teaching your child what it means to have a personal relationship with Jesus. We are so excited to come alongside you as you begin this parenting adventure.
In order to participate you will need to complete the following three steps:
Listen to three short parenting talks and complete the corresponding assignments. You will be given this resource at the Dedication Orientation.
Invite your family and friends as we celebrate your child's dedication. This is a time for you to share with your family and closest friends what is most important to you and to ask them for their prayers and support. We will reserve a table (seats 10) for your family and friends. Siblings are more then welcome to attend however, we ask that no other children are invited.
LifePoint Church believes that baptism is for believers, we do not baptize infants. Infants of believing parents can be dedicated to the Lord but are not baptized until they can personally articulate their faith and the purpose of baptism

Baby Dedication takes place twice a year, in the fall and once in the spring.
Baby Dedication Orientation is offered the fourth weekend of every month between the services on both Saturday and Sunday. Parents should meet in the Ventureland Family Room (lower level, behind the check in desk) for a 30 minutes orientation. Parents will receive a packet of information with all the details.
Yes! We ask that you register for a specific dedication date and when you register for this, you will be reminded to attend an orientation.
We recommend parents dedicate their children before the age of 24 months, however we do make exceptions when people are new to LifePoint.
No, it is not. LifePoint Church believes that baptism is for believers, so we do not baptize infants. Infants of believing parents can be dedicated to the Lord but are not baptized until they can personally articulate their faith and the purpose of baptism.
